How do I refer a friend to Capital on Tap?

You can invite a friend who owns a small business to join Capital on Tap. When both of you meet the referral criteria, you will each receive a referral bonus.

How does the Refer a Friend programme work?

Share your unique promo code with a friend who owns a small business. Once referred, they can apply in one of two ways:

1. Use the unique referral URL, which automatically adds the code.
2. Enter the promo code manually on the application form.

Both you and the referee will receive a referral bonus after:

• Your friend's business is approved for a Capital on Tap Business Credit Card.
• Each of you has completed a transaction of at least £75.

How many referrals can I do?

You can refer up to:

• 10 friends per calendar month
• 100 friends in total

When will I receive my referral bonus?

The bonus is credited once both you and your referred friend have each made a qualifying transaction, but it may take a few days to appear on your statements.

What happens if my friend forgets to enter the promo code?

Capital on Tap can review the application if the promo code was missed. To resolve this:

• The referee must confirm the promo code they were given.
• Capital on Tap will verify your referral by contacting you.

Will the bonus be credited if an account is declined or suspended?

No. If either your account or your friend's account is declined or suspended, the referral bonus will not be credited.

Can I use the programme for a second business?

UK customers who are a director or shareholder of a second business can use the Refer a Friend programme for that business. When completing the new application, use your current locator in the referral code.
